CHIA-SEEDS-COOKIES
INGREDIENTS
- 120 g vegan butter ( for example Bio Alsan S )
- 5 tablespoons water
- 4 – 5 tablespoons Chia-seeds
- 100 g sugar
- 1 dash salt
- 150 g flour
- 9 g Weinstein baking powder ( cream of tartar or any other vegan baking powder )
- caviar from one vanilla pod
PREPARATION
step 1
- preheat the oven to 180 ° Celsius
step 2
- melt the butter
- stir the water and chia-seeds into it
- intermix sugar and salt
- let it steep for 5 minutes
step 3
- mix flour, bakingpowder and vanilla
- stir the butter-chia-seed mixtur into it
step 4
- put a sheet of baking paper on a baking tray
- put small heaps with a spoon on it, flatten the heaps
- (pay heed to distance, the cookies will get double in size)
step 5
- bake it for 15 – 20 minutes ( dependent on the size of the cookies )
step 6
- let them totally cool down
- enjoy them
