PLUM CAKE
This vegan autumn cake is easy to make and tastes exquisite juicy
INGREDIENTS
- 300 g flour
- 30 g brown sugar
- 7 g dry yeast
- dash salt
- 40 g vegan butter
- 100 ml soy milk without sugar
- 750 g plums
- optional:
- 2-3 tablespoons brown sugar ( to sprinkle the cake before baking)
- powdered sugar
PREPARATION
- Mix flour, sugar, yeast and salt in the bowl of your kitchen maschine
- Melt the butter
- heat the soy milk
- Pour butter and milk and mix in
- Kneat the dough for 10 minutes
- Put the dough in a bowl
- Cover it and let it rest for 1 hour on a warm place
- Preheat the oven to 160° C
- Put a bakingpaper on a baking tray
- Roll the dough out to a rectangle ( 1cm/0,4”)
- Put it on the baking tray
- Halve the plums and remove the core
- Apply the plum halves close packed onto the dough.
- Optional: sprinkle it with sugar
- Bake for 40 minutes
- Let the cake cool down
- Cut in pieces
- optional: sprinkle with powdered sugar
