APPLE BREAD
This vegan delicacy tastes like Xmas, I cant get enough of it. I’m excited if you feel the same.
INGREDIENTS
- 1000 g apples with paring (grated)
- 150 g hazelnuts (halved)
- 250 g raisins
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon cloves spice
- 1 tablespoon ginger bread spice
- 100 ml rum
- 250 g brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cacao
- 500 g spelt flour (wholemeal)
- 17 g Weinstein baking powder ( cream of tartar or any other vegan baking powder )
- dash salt
PREPARATION
- Mix all ingredients (EXCEPT flour, baking powder and salt ) in a bowl
- Let it steep at least for 2 hours
- Preheat the oven to 175° C
- Put a sheet of baking paper on a baking tray
- Mix flour with baking powder and salt
- Add to the apple mixtur
- Spread the dough on the baking tray
- Bake for 45 minutes
- Let it cool down
- Cut in pieces
- Enjoy!
