GARLIC PRETZELS
INGREDIENTS ( 20 pcs )
- 200 g wheat flour
- 21 g dry jeast
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon mellow vegan butter ( I use the golden Alsan S )
- 3 garlic cloves
- 100 ml vegan whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons coarse (sea) salt for the surface
PREPARATION
step 1
- put a sheet of baking paper on a baking tray

- mix flour, yeast and salt
- add the knobs of butter
- peel the garlic and add it with a garlic press to the flour
- pour the whipping cream into
- knead it for 5 minutes the best way is with your hands

- form the dough to a ball
- put it in a bowl and spread it with water
- cover it with wrapping film
- let it rest on a warm place for 45 minutes

- knead the dough again
- divide it in 20 portions
- roll each piece to a string of 20 cm
- form each string to a pretzel

- damp the surface and press it in the coarse salt

- put the pretzels ( with the salt above) on the baking tray
- cover it with a dishcloth
- let them rest for 20 minutes

- preheat the oven to 200 ° Celsius

- put a pot with cooking water into the oven
- bake the pretzels for 10-12 minutes ( they should be golden brown )
step 9
- let them cool down
