GINGERBREAD
INGREDIENTS
for the gingerbread:
- 500 g flour
- 250 g brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 2 tablespoons gingerbread-spice
- nd 17 g Weinstein baking powder ( cream of tartar or any other vegan baking powder ) oy
- 250 ml soya cuisine
- 1 tablespoon rum ( altenative: Amaretto )
for the icing:
- 120 g powered sugar
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- optional: 10 drops orange peel oil
PREPARATION
step 1
- preheat the oven to 175 ° Celsius
- put a sheet of baking paper on a baking tray
step 2
- mix all ingredients and knead it until it is a stiff dough
step 3
- roll out dough ( 1 cm thick )
- cut out into any shape
- put them on the baking tray and brush with milk
step 4
- bake for 10 minutes ( not longer !!!)
step 5
- mix all ingredients for the icing
step 6
- Gingerbread ( still hot ) sprinkle with icing
- let it cool on a grid
