JACKFRUIT MUSHROOM GOULASH
This vegan dish is a really tast explosion 🙂 Easy made and dreamlike. I love it.
INGREDIENTS ( for 2-3 portions)
- 1 can young green jackfruit in water or brine (not syrup)
- 1-2 teaspoons smoke liquid
- 125 g mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 2 tablespoon flour
- 1-2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons paprika powder
- 170 ml water
- salt
- pepper
- oil
PREPARATION
- Rinse the Jackfruit under running water and let it drain
- Cut it in little pieces
- heat the oil in a pan and sear the jackfruit pieces
- Deglaze it with smoke liquid
- Sear for another 5 minutes while stiring
- Take the jackfruit out and put it aside
- Cut the mushrooms in slices
- Roast it in the pan
- Cut onion in little pieces
- Add to mushrooms
- Roast for another minute
- Add jackfruit
- Sprinkle with paprika powder, garlic powder and flour
- Pour water over it
- Stir it
- Flavor with salt and pepper
- Let it simmer for 10 minutes ( COVERED)
- Serve it with speatzle
- Enjoy!
